Greetings loved ones (snoooooop),
So last night was real fun, we hung out at a pub and watched the game at our own private booth! I loved the atmosphere and how into it everyone was. It was fantastic, and drinks were cheap too! I actually wasn't as tired for class as I thought I'd be which is really surprising. Although, I looked like a troll all day because I didn't shower this morning.
I had my double day of classes which was actually really great. Like I've said before, both classes are sports related. A lot of the things intertwine so that should hopefully make it easier when tests and papers come around. In my first class, we talked a lot about the ethics and commercialization of sports. Tiger Woods was talked about for quite a while. We got out an hour early so Chelsea and I had a long break before our next class. We headed down to a restaurant on the corner and had some delicious burgers and chips.
For the following class, we got the opportunity to go see where the Olympics are gonna be. It was quite a trek, but we finally made it. It's still under a lot of construction so it wasn't as glamorous as I was anticipating. I still got some great shots which I'll put up in a bit. The buildings are really interesting and it's gonna be AMAZING when it's finished (it's gonna be nuts, Emgaff!!) I also saw where swimming was going to be held and died a little bit thinking about how I'm missing being in the same city as Michael Phelps by just a few months!
After that, we went right across the way to the Westfield shopping center. It's this HUGE mall that's literally a stone's throw away from all of the Olympic structures. My teacher is a straight up boss. I love her. It was nice because we got to spend some time with her outside of the classroom and even went into a number of stores and bonded over shoes. I think she is the reason I know I will make it through 6 hours of classes every Thursday.
Chelsea and I then went to Oxford Circus on our way home and finally found the Forever 21. We got some cute things and I'm so stoked to wear them hahah. We leave for Bath tomorrow so I will probably be bringing a few of the things with me.
Unfortunately, I don't think we're going to Havanas tonight like we do every Thursday for half priced drinks! It's just that waking up so early tomorrow is just not going to mix well with a Havana night.
Chels and I are about to watch the latest episode of One Tree Hill and then indulge in some 16 and pregnant. I miss everyone so much. Lots of English lovin' comin' your way!
Xx
Paige
