Here We Go Again

It has been just a little over 2 weeks and it's time for me to start my next adventure! While adjusting to America again was pretty rough, I think I definitely made the most out of my time at home.

My first weekend, I headed up to Ithaca to see my friends. The weather was beautiful and it was so great to see everyone. It was nice to see some London faces as well back on Ithaca turf.

I came home for about a day before I headed out again to spend a few days at my beach house in Lavallette with my cousin Courtney. Although it rained the entire time, we managed to still have a great time. I also got to see some of my friends who live down there which made it that much better.

                                         

                                          

When I came home, I spent some time with my home friends and hitting up all our favorite spots such as OP, Croton Point Park for a picnic and of course Michelle's basement.

                                       

It has been a crammed few weeks but I saw just about everyone I needed/wanted to see before I start my next big adventure including family and even some time spent on the boat!

Tomorrow I leave for Los Angeles for the next 9 weeks. I am so incredibly excited to be spending my summer on the Golden Coast. If I hadn't spent the last 4 months traveling, I think I would have been pretty nervous about going out there by myself, but London taught me well (It also doesn't hurt that my dad scored me first class tickets!). At some point, I'll be renting a car, but who knows when that will be. It just doesn't seem real! I love when people ask "What are you doing this summer?" and my answer is "Oh I am spending the summer interning in Los Angeles." It just never gets old!

I'm living in the Oakwood Apartments with Julianne (who lived in #flat29 in London with me!) and her friend Kathryn! I'm so excited and it's going to be a great summer.
