Busy Busy Busy

Hi all!

So this past week has been pretty standard. I worked at Atlantic on Monday and Tuesday and at Tailfish Wednesday and Thursday.

On Tuesday, I had the task of ordering lunch for the office. I then had to go pick it up. Leave it to me to make things complicated. I forgot a number of things and had to go on a wild goose chase to make sure I got it all! All in all, I made it back and everyone had what they ordered.

Thursday morning, Julianne and I woke up at 6:45 am and headed to the gym for a morning workout. It was horrible waking up, but it was a great kickstart to my day. I came home, showered, had breakfast and watched Good Morning America before heading off to work.

On Friday, the roomies and I went out to dinner and the movies. After looking for parking for almost a half hour, we finally met up with Julianne who had gone to get our tickets. She was waiting in line that whole time and watched two showings of Magic Mike sell out. The lines were incredible. We even had to wait in line to get INTO the theater after we had bought our tickets! Magic Mike, which had a lot of promise, fell flat. The movie was awful. I thought Dark Shadows was bad... this might have been worse. There was no plot line and it was trying to be both an indie film as well as a Hollywood Blockbuster. It achieved neither. Other than that, the night was fun and we found a new hangout in downtown Burbank so that's a plus!

Other than working, there's not much to report other than some more of Julianne's birthday festivities! Her parents came into town for a few days so they treated us all to a wonderful day! We headed out to Malibu to Malibu Wines for a wine tasting. Our wine connoisseur was so wonderful. He was friendly and clearly very amused by us. He even ended up giving Julianne her flight of wine for free because it was her birthday! We then went to Santa Monica to a little Italian restaurant. It was delicious. After a bit of wine, a nice heaping portion of Chicken Parm hit the spot.

We then went back to the restaurant/ bar that we had found in Burbank and found out it is definitely the place to be. The servers are so wonderful and many of the male employees are quite attractive. You know where we'll be.

After that, we got some froyo and headed home to hang out with the rest of the girls and Sam! It was such a great day.

I also need everyone to know that I am becoming a... wait for it... drumroll please... COFFEE DRINKER. Yes, a coffee drinker. I know you're all shocked. I even drank it black at work on Tuesday because I didn't know where the creamer was... It's getting insane. As I sit here and write this... I'm drinking it. I'm going to become addicted. I have crossed over to the dark side ya'll.

I have officially become accustomed to living on the West Coast. I absolutely LOVE Los Angeles and it's another city that I'm going to have to come back to once I graduate. I don't know how I am going to readjust to the weather back on the east coast.

I hope all is well with all of you wonderful people and I can't believe I'm coming home in 27 days! It's officially the beginning of the end.

Lots of love,
Paige xx
